Trading instruments
White Oak Capital Management offers more than 250 instruments: currency pairs, metals, stock indices, shares, energies and cryptocurrencies. All assets are traded as contract specifications via the WOCM platform. Maximum leverage depends on the asset class and your account type (up to 1:100 on a Gold account). Exact spreads, lot sizes and trading hours are listed in each instrument's specification.

Distribution of instruments by asset class.
Instrument conditions
Filter by asset class and search by ticker. Average spread in pips by account type, swap, maximum leverage and trading schedule (GMT). Values are for reference only: the current specification is in the WOCM terminal.
Spread by tier for the selected instrument
Pick an instrument: the bars show the average spread on Standard, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Reference values.
Average daily range
How many pips an instrument travels in a day. The wider the range, the further the stop-loss must sit and the smaller the volume at the same risk.
Trading session hours
Choose your city and drag the time slider: the chart shows which sessions are open, where the liquidity is and when the next overlap between Europe and the US occurs.

What is a CFD?
A CFD, or contract for difference, is an agreement between a trader and a broker to exchange the difference between the opening and closing price of a position. You do not buy the asset itself (for example, a physical share or a gold bar), which is why you can open positions on both rising and falling prices. Profit and loss are calculated from the price change and the position size. Leverage lets you open a position larger than your own capital, but it increases the potential loss just as much.
What makes each asset class different
Currency pairs
A currency pair shows how many units of the second currency you need for one unit of the first. An EUR/USD rate of 1.1000 means 1 euro buys 1.10 dollars. If you expect the euro to rise, you buy the pair; if you expect it to fall, you sell. Rates are driven by central bank decisions, inflation, employment data and political events. To keep risk low at the start, the Standard account offers conservative leverage of 1:10.
Gold and other metals
Gold is often seen as a safe-haven asset: its price reacts to inflation expectations, interest rates and the dollar. Silver and industrial metals depend more on manufacturing demand. The same risk management rules apply to them as to currency pairs.
Indices
An index tracks the movement of a group of shares, for example a country's largest companies. Trading indices lets you profit from the market's overall direction without picking individual stocks. The market can move sharply on corporate earnings and macroeconomic releases.
Shares via CFD
A share CFD mirrors the share's exchange price. You get no voting rights and do not own the share itself. When dividends are paid, the account is adjusted: a long position is credited, a short position is debited. On premium account types (such as Gold), clients receive a ready-made diversification strategy across 3 different market types at once.
Oil and energies
The oil price depends on producer-country decisions, inventories, demand and geopolitics. These instruments can be highly volatile when inventory reports are published.
Cryptocurrencies
Cryptocurrencies trade around the clock and are highly volatile. Because of the elevated risk, leverage on them is lower. A CFD does not mean owning the coins: you cannot withdraw them to an external crypto wallet, but you can profit from changes in their price.
Correlation matrix
Pick two instruments and see the real risk of holding both positions. Two “independent” trades in correlated assets are really one large trade.
Pip value
The same number of pips means different amounts of money for different instruments. Switch the instrument without changing the volume and compare.
Frequently asked questions
Cryptocurrencies trade around the clock; all other instruments follow the standard schedule of the global markets.

Yes. When a position is rolled over to the next trading day, a swap is charged or credited. If your religion does not permit swaps, you can request a Swap-Free (Islamic) account through our 24/7 support.

Risk warning. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk. High leverage can lead to the rapid loss of your deposited funds.
